Water Tube™ Self-watering Plant Guard Garden Care Plant Protection Water Tube™ This Australian designed and manufactured product can save $'s, time, water and your plants. The Water Tube Self-Watering Tree Guard has the benefits of a conventional tree guard and in addition will drip water your tree or other plant for over 2 weeks. The Water Tube holds 20 litres of water and releases it through a coil dripper at a controlled rate. Depending on the extremes of climate, the Water Tube may only need to be filled once a month. The Water Tube and mass of water inside creates a microclimate inside that can stabilise temperature extremes as well as providing physical protection. The Water Tube uses 3 normal timber stakes for support (not included).Water Tubes are made from heavy gauge recyclable polyethylene and has a field life of at least 2 years allowing it to be re-used several times.
