Trapeze Learn To Fly The Trapeze - Sydney Trapeze A new and unique opportunity - learn how to fly on the trapeze at the first and only flying trapeze school in Sydney. You will get a taste of what it's like to be a trapeze performer. Your training session will start with a run through of the safety procedures, basic body positions, before putting on your safety harness on the mini trapeze on the ground. You will then climb the ladder to the platform where you are attached to the safety ropes and swing on the high trapeze. At this point you can perform the first of a number of tricks according to your strength, skill and desire. After just a few swings most people will accomplish the correct body position to enable them to do a release and catch, which in turn opens up a variety of more advance manoeuvres. The trapeze team are fully trained professionals and have years of experience from around the world performing and instructing for shows such as the Moscow Circus. Paintball - Sydney Paintball What awaits you is an awesome selection of field layouts and challenging game variations. Scenarios such as 'snipers and ferrets', 'flag field', 'future ball' and others will keep you on the run and in the action. Games usually last between 15 and 20 minutes and you can play as many as you can fit in (or cope with) in a day. Games are played between two opposing teams varying in size from 5 to 50 per side. The object of each game is to eliminate your opponents and capture their flag. This is achieved by performing strategic team manoeuvres and marking your opponents with a paintball (a small gelatin capsule that bursts on impact tagging them with a water based, non toxic dye). The paintball is about the size of a bath oil bead and is fired by a Carbon Dioxide powered gun. As well as being a fast, exciting and challenging team sport - paintball is one sport where physical size and strength do not make a good player, but quick thinking and team work do. Paintball games are supervised and controlled at all times by professional referees, who are placed on and around the field. Following a demonstration on the practice bar, the new flyers get their first taste by hanging upside down from their knees and stretching their arms out behind them. After a couple of abseils on these beginner slopes you'll become familiar with the correct abseiling stance and other descent techniques. Parasailing Solo - Gold Coast Parasailing Parasailing is an exciting and unique way to see the Gold Coast. Parasailing combines the sheer joy of soaring in the sky one hundred metres above the Gold Coast skyline and the sensation of flying horizontally over the sea through the clear blue sky!
